Issey Miyake
Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake is famous for his avant-garde work with fabric and technology and has translated that passion for innovation in this collection of statement fragrances.
Launched in 1992, the original scent, L’eau d’Issey, is a light aquatic-floral fragrance housed in a bottle inspired by the view of the moon behind the Eiffel Tower. This perfume was followed by the L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme, L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Sport and Pleats Please collections created in collaboration with guest perfumers including Jacques Cavallier, Oliver Cresp and Alberto Morillas. Blending technology, originality and multi-lingual puns, Issey Miyake bottles a sense of humour and unexpected exotic notes in his offering of luxury fragrances for men and women.
