Shipping policy

Our goods are shipped within two business days by Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked Delivery. However, we try to process orders as soon as possible.

We do not process or ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Cut-off time for order processing is 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Allow 2 working days for made-to-order processing. 

All made-to-order products are final with no refunds. Personalized or custom-made items, and perishable goods cannot be returned and restocked and will be destroyed. 

If your order arrives damaged, or you receive the wrong product, please contact us for a replacement delivery (any additional postage payable by the buyer) at info@theparfumesshop.com

Shipping Rates

We offer delivery to both the UK and International destinations. 

Estimated delivery rates (per 100gr) starting from:

-    UK Tracked Delivery (5-7 Working Days) – Free for orders over £60
-    UK Tracked Delivery (5-7 Working Days) – from £2.90
-    EU Tracked Delivery (10-14 Working Days*) – from £12.95
-    United States, Australia and Canada Tracked (10-20 Working Days*) – from £13.25
-    International Tracked (10-20 Working Days*) – from £13.25

100 grams is the weight of roughly one product. 

* Please be aware of potential and unexpected customs delays depending on local delivery processes in your country. Delays can extend beyond normal expected delivery times. 

Order Processing

- Allow 2 business days for processing. 
- Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.  
- Products are personalised goods, and made to order for each purchase. 

Important Notice for International Order:

Recipient are responsible for:

  • Being available to receive the delivery
  • Paying any applicable duties or import fees
  • Contacting their local courier in the event of a missed delivery
  • Assure all address and contact details are correct on orders
  • Contact support if your delivery is delayed, if you have received the wrong product, or if a damaged product has been delivered to allow us to offer a replacement  

Royal Mail will not accept compensation claims for:

  • Failure to pay import fees or
  • Failure to be available to receive the shipment
  • When customs notifications have been ignored 
  • The address had insufficient details
  • The address is wrong
  • The recipient is not available to accept the delivery
  • Delivery is not able to be completed.

We cannot issue a refund or provide a replacement in any of these circumstances.

Returns & Refunds - Limitations

Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) products made to order and perishable goods have limited refund rights: 

  • Prepared specifically for that customer
  • Prepared only after the order is placed
  • Not resellable due to hygiene, safety, or regulatory reasons
  • Labeled specifically for the customer 
  • Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once opened

We do not cancel or issue a refund if you change your mind or dislike the scent.

We can provide a replacement for damaged goods (UK orders).

Cancellations

We are happy to cancel your order for full refund, provided this is done before the order is processed and shipped.
