Givenchy is a Parisian institution, constantly pushing boundaries with its ready-to-wear and haute couture collections. Founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy, the brand was ahead of its time in introducing a range of separates that were central to its immediate success and revered by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Kennedy.
Later birthing a fragrance line, Givenchy tapped Audrey Hepburn to be the face of the first Givenchy perfume, L’Interdit, before creating further scents that cemented the house’s beauty credentials.
Today, under the artistic direction of Clare Waight Keller, Givenchy continues to ignite surprise and intrigue season upon season thanks to a forward-looking new signature. And who could forget the custom-designed wedding gown and veil worn by Meghan Markle to marry Prince Harry?
